Simple to cut out.

1. Download the cake (rightclick the image and choose “Download linked as… “, put it in your folder and call it rawfoodcake.jpg
2. Open the image in Photoshop (skip Camera raw)
3. With the quick selection tool, set a good brush size (50-100)
4. Work from inside the cake until the entire cake is selected.
5. In the Options field in Photoshop, click Select and mask. Choose Show -> On white. 
6. Click cancel. 
7. In the layer panel, create a layer mask for this layer, based in the selection.
8. (You can display the layer mask by alt-clicking it)
9. Create an adjustment layer – top option – Solid color.
10. Without notice of what color it is, click OK.
11. Move your solid color layer underneath the cake layer.
12. Double click the color in the adjustment layer and choose a color from the cake with the color sampler.
13. Admire your work.
14. Save your photo as a Photoshop file.
